Happy Day!

(I don't know your life.)

Morning darklings,

Happy day of Jesus or Santa or commercialized holiday or Thursday! Today, I will be cozy in five layers of soft things, becoming one with drinking chocolate, watching movies I haven’t been able to yet, and cramming a month’s worth of advent tea into one day. Wish me luck to not buoy away by the liquid—or at least come back by New Year’s.

I’ve got some memes, lights, and Joyce pre-order links for you (you know, so you have something to spend that present money on).

I hope you’re warm and safe and drinking something that makes you feel comfort. ❤️

The hubs and I went to see lights on Saturday. Of course there was cocoa, and he made cookies. We’d planned to pop to Silverton Christmas Market, but when we got there, we found out they were all but sold out—no parking passes and bussing people from nearby schools by the hoards. So we opted out. Instead, we enjoyed a few neighborhoods and found the Santas (as is our annual tradition). Despite the two and a half hours on the road with little but highway for eye candy, it was a nice night. The company was lovely, there were laughs and stories and Christmas oldies playing over the radio. Also, we found that there are some places in Vancouver that top Portland for lights that we’ll be investigating more thoroughly next year.

About buying Joyce

NOTE: The paperback pre-orders via my store will only run until January 2nd because shipping times are ridiculous for the backend orders.

Until next time, harness the Little darknesses and embrace the Little things.
