What big flowers we have

Morning darklings,

I finished the third draft of my crip fic fabulist darling, and I’m still in a state of shock. After all we’ve been through—this novella and I—there was a large part of me that worried I wouldn’t be able to finish. She’s changed shape and genre a few times over now, but I love her. More importantly, she’s out of my system and with beta readers. I can now imagine her on a shelf and not in a buried file on my laptop.

I bought two news orchids and have declared that to be my reward for a job well done.

Today’s mood board is a little more bunny themed than usual. Which is to say, mildly-bunny themed. Commercial Easter carries over through the whole of Spring, right?

1. Yes, of course. I’m not a monster.

2. I only recently realized there are bunny people that make cat people look the most lowkey. So no. And even if I had nine bunnies, I would not be. Because no matter how pretty my bunnies were, I wouldn’t turn them into show bunnies.

3. The flowers are IN BLOOM around my new neighborhood. It brings me the most joy to walk around my block. Going from a place I didn’t want to get my own mail to wandering around and enjoying the sun and scent of lavender is wild and beautiful. I highly recommend it.
